how much download is consumed if i am listetning to a music station online for 7 hours?

my DSL connection is limited to 6 G.B. per month so i wanted to know how much i am consuming from these to online music.

depends on the quality of the stream…. there 24/48/64/96/128/256/320 so on and so on… depends what the bitrate of the stream… itll show in the media player you’re using to stream or if you’re streaming from a website then you’ll need a program that will monitor your network traffic aka your current download rate… lets say the stream is at 128 kbps thats 128kbps a sec so you take 128 x 60 x 7 and divide that into 1024 to get the total mb’s a radio station streaming at 128 for 7 hours would be 52.5 MB’s… there are 1024 MB’s in a GB do the math!

I am looking to listen to music online. I dont want to be able to download it or do anything else besides listen to it on the computer. I am looking for a site that has good sound quality and easy to search for different songs. Right now i just use youtube and myspace and a lot of the time the songs sound pretty bad. any help would be great.

I can’t read music to save my life. I want to be able to play the guitar and keyboard and actually WRITE these songs that I come up with in my head. I need like a beginners music lesson, if there’s any such thing free online. Does anybody have any suggestions?

I have searched for it in the usual online music shops but can only find instrumental versions, i need only a piano and vocal version.

I’d like you guys to recommend me the best online music store for buying freestyle music from the 80’s (The Cover Girls, Judy Torres, George Lamond, Sweet Sensation, etc.) I don’t know which company has the biggest catalogue for this kind of music. I am not able to find any online music jobs. I am an aspiring music composer. I seek exposure. I wish to work. I have nil experience in film industry but willing to work towards it. Also I wish to do any composition job in music.. even without pay!! People please help me.

Step One: Make a demo
Step Two: Look for people locally to work with. If you can’t find professionals, go to your local college and find some film majors. Contact a few radio stations to see if you can submit music for use on their commercials. Which is really going toward–
Step Three: Build a resume.
Step Four: Consider finding a publisher or manager. There are still a few publishers around that sign songwriters to exclusive contracts.
